If you really love somebody, wouldnt you NOT want to set her free? Wouldnt you want her to be in your captivity? Wouldnt you want her to be there with you?
Well, maybe some would say that if you love somebody but that somebody does not love you back, you should set her free. In the first place, ask yourself. Are you really in love? How do you define love? Love is having a great affection or liking. Well maybe. But to me, love is an emotional relationship between two people. Yes two people. (Maybe more for some). You can only love somebody only when the somebody loves you back. If she does not love you, you are not in love to begin with. It wouldnt be neccessary to set that somebody free then.
What if you are with her and now she loves somebody else. Well, the same thing apply. The love is gone. The emotional relationship between the two of you isnt there any more and she has foster another emotional relationship with another somebody. So is there a need of setting her free?
What I think is more appropriate is to set yourself free. Free from the delusional thinking that you are in love.

An interesting thought.. But to me, love is self defining.. it depends on your outlook and experiences... there are many levels and varieties of love.. from the mild, familial to the intense, stalkerish.. who are we to say what another person is feeling is not love?
But yes, if you think what you feel is true, it wouldnt make sense to let them go
I think love is a choice.
Its a choice you make to love this person.And after u decide,u will stick to it.No matter perangai die buruk or she doesnt love you back.
Same thing,its a choice to stop loving someone.When u feel like there's no chemistry anymore,u can choose to do 2 things.
a)To stop loving the person or
b)try to rekindle that feeling.
Same thing,if you think you cant live with the fact tt she doesnt like you back,you decide to stop loving her.
Yes.I believe its a choice you make.Love based on a tingling feeling in your heart when u see the person is shortlived.

Yes! You are right. Love is self defining. Maybe there are indeed many levels of love. And love is of course a choice, Fana. It is just how i defined my "love". "Love" that requires two to happen. Just like we need two legs (or maybe two crutches)to walk . Haha...
