Why do we fall?

"Why do we fall, sir? So that we might better learn to pick ourselves up". A phrase by the famous butler Alfred Pennyworth (the old man that took care of Batman). I agree with Alfred totally. If we do not fall, we would not be able to learn this important skill of picking ourselves up.

When we were younger and learning how to walk, what is the first thing we learn; To pick ourselves up. Only when we fall and get up, we can try again. We fall again and pick ourselves up again and fall again until we finally walk and then run.

This should not only be applied to when we are learning how to walk but in every aspect of our lives. When we learn to pick purselves up we are not afraid of falling and this enable us to achieve anything that we desire.

So, for those who are not up there but down there, listen to Alfred. Learn to pick yourselves up and fear of falling you shall not.

(But falling in love is an entirely different thing though...)
